News Sources Page Published! A Great Resource for Readers!

Alvarism is pleased to present its compendium of news sources, that it loads into its news aggregation apps to monitor events and news. Let’s remember that journalism’s ultimate goal is to give us knowledge about the world beyond our direct experience. Consequently, accuracy is the highest measure of journalistic quality.

Unfortunately, activists, nonprofits, think tanks, political candidates, and journalism outfits can be outright disgusting in their practices. Their greatest offenses include:

  • Cronyism
  • Nepotism
  • Ideological fanaticism
  • Refusing to cooperate with each other out of envy or fear of sharing donors and audiences
  • Thinking of themselves as “gatekeepers” who decide what people should know instead of just reporting impactful stories and knowledge
  • Refusing to report truthfully on topics verboten by their donors and biased agenda
  • Selecting guests and contributors based on special interests instead of their ostensible mission and stated issues
  • Following raw populism for the numbers (sales, status, celebrity, money, number of followers) rather than objective quality and value

Because of this corruption, based on fear, envy, and manipulative market protectionism, they often operate in isolated silos and they splinter civic unity. Major TV channels do this, YouTube channels do this, and so many myopic “gatekeepers” make their little fiefdoms of influence without any regard for higher virtues and enduring stratagems.

Alvarism will never engage in that common corruption, despite the overwhelming standard being such corruption. This is why we list and promote all our sources and citations – whether we favor them or not. This is why we are willing to engage with any organization or personality we list here – whether we favor them or not.

A confident civic participant does not fear, does not calculate influence domination, does not see things in terms of power and money and “gatekeeping.” A confident and righteous civic participant, fearing nothing, stands on their own merit and virtue, willing to confront and collaborate openly, with minimized information asymmetry.

And of course, as a confident civic participant we are willing to concede error, after a full debate that is based upon evidence and logic alone. We hope this resource introduces you to even more sources of information for your own edification. Remember to aim higher than contradiction, even as you contemplate new information in your self-dialogue:

  1. Awesome chart! I recently read two articles that bounced between the yellow and pink. Imagine your chart being universally applied: “Your argument is way too orange, give me more turquoise or I see no point in continuing this discussion.”

    1. Glad you like it dear friend! I hope the news sources are useful as well. We are drowning in sub-turquoise. The “golden friends” I listed in the linked news sources page are all above turquoise. This cognitive errancy occurs even in our self-dialogue when there is no communication outside of our own mind as we process information. Educators have failed the entire globe, despite a king’s ransom in tax serfdom to pay for their awful indoctrination. This will not change anytime soon without an explosion of influence for Alvarism’s reverse social engineering projects! There are very few “golden friend” worthy organizations. The socialists thought that a great majority of the population should be indoctrinated because most could only be trained to produce repetitive results for particular tasks. After 150 years of socialist domination of the globe, their idea about robbing people of their self-agency and independent thinking has become a self-fulfilling prophecy due to education czars like Montessori, Mussolini, John Dewey, and George S. Counts to name just a few.
