Mass Shooting Hysteria Pt 1: Blame & Context

Mass shooting hysteria is active once again, after two incidents:

Dayton Ohio, August 4, 2019 1:05 AM EST

  • Casualties: 9 dead, 27 wounded
  • Perpetrator: Connor Betts
  • Ideology: Democrat activist, democratic socialist, Antifa and DSA promoter, environmentalist, Christian-hater (ridicule via Satanic mockery), following the footsteps of recent leftwing terrorists Micah Xavier Johnson (black ethno-nationalist) and James T. Hodgkinson
  • Precipitation: likely personality disorder, mixed with socialist terrorism. In his own words, “I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding.”

El Paso Texas, August 3, 2019 10:39 AM MDT

  • Casualties: 21 dead, 25 wounded
  • Perpetrator: Patrick Crusius
  • Ideology: Fascist activist, ethno-nationalist, eco-terrorist, environmentalist. For the only accurate understanding of this ideology, you must read Alvarism’s essay on the White Nationalist diversion: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. All other analysts lack requisite comprehensive knowledge of political ideology and history.
  • Precipitation: likely personality disorder, mixed with fascist terrorism. He subscribes to The Great Replacement; a copycat of Brenton Tarrant. Only people who read Alvarism’s essay on the White Nationalist diversion will understand that this is not a hate crime. To pursue it as a hate crime is an abortion of justice. It is ethno-nationalist terrorism.

The Blame Game

To stand upon freshly killed bodies in a morgue and use them as props for political opportunism is about as low as a person can get. Here are the politicians who jumped on the corpses to espouse their lazy and mickey-mouse distortion of the mass shooting:

Mexico Offers the Most Lunatic Reaction

Even the outrageous socialist administration of Mexico – The National Regeneration Movement – has responded to the event with complete disregard, ignorance, and rote opportunism. If they expect the United States to answer for seven killed Mexican nationals, they better ante-up for the thousands of Americans slaughtered by their illegal immigrant gang members and the hundreds of American tourists killed in Mexico every year. The sense of entitlement and hypocrisy is exactly what we expect from socialist tyrants, who cannot wait to impose themselves on everyone else while taking responsibility for nothing.

Emotive Propaganda vs. Expert Assessment

We have experts on criminology, terrorism, security, ideology, civics, culture, history, and psychology. Why would any American listen to podium miscreants about these issues? Why would the advisors of these democrats encourage them to take the low road?

The barrage of racial paranoia and emotive sensationalism coming from democrats on the shootings is a power-play to distract and detract people from Trump’s very important and sincere action plan.

Trump’s Action Plan

President Trump gave a near-perfect speech on the shootings. His speechwriter’s only flaw was associating video games to the killings – a disproven correlation.

Both shooters had severe personality disorders. There were years of indicators that they were dangerous people, willing to dehumanize and threaten the innocent. While the #MeToo movement of the democrats sought to violate our civil rights and promote a guilty-until-proven-innocent abortion of justice, Trump’s red flag concept can coexist with due process.

People who broadcast murder and rape lists, along with persistent dehumanization, intimidation, and unrelenting psychological and relational aggression need to be monitored and potentially detained.

The radical egalitarian leftists are willing to fine and imprison people for “hate speech” which can be as insignificant as valid criticism of cultural trends. Why would they simultaneously minimize actual incitement to rape and murder?

Four Commonalities of Mass Killing Perpetrators

Psychologists Jillian Peters and James Densley issued the following summary of their research on mass killers. While their proposed solutions suffer from the tunnel vision we expect from specialists, their analysis is thorough, helpful, and valid:

“Our goal has been to find new, data-driven pathways for preventing such shootings. Although we haven’t found that mass shooters are all alike, our data do reveal four commonalities among the perpetrators of nearly all the mass shootings we studied.

First, the vast majority of mass shooters in our study experienced early childhood trauma and exposure to violence at a young age. The nature of their exposure included parental suicide, physical or sexual abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and/or severe bullying. The trauma was often a precursor to mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, thought disorders or suicidality.

Second, practically every mass shooter we studied had reached an identifiable crisis point in the weeks or months leading up to the shooting. They often had become angry and despondent because of a specific grievance. For workplace shooters, a change in job status was frequently the trigger. For shooters in other contexts, relationship rejection or loss often played a role. Such crises were, in many cases, communicated to others through a marked change in behavior, an expression of suicidal thoughts or plans, or specific threats of violence.

Third, most of the shooters had studied the actions of other shooters and sought validation for their motives. People in crisis have always existed. But in the age of 24-hour rolling news and social media, there are scripts to follow that promise notoriety in death. Societal fear and fascination with mass shootings partly drives the motivation to commit them. Hence, as we have seen in the last week, mass shootings tend to come in clusters. They are socially contagious. Perpetrators study other perpetrators and model their acts after previous shootings. Many are radicalized online in their search for validation from others that their will to murder is justified.

Fourth, the shooters all had the means to carry out their plans. Once someone decides life is no longer worth living and that murdering others would be a proper revenge, only means and opportunity stand in the way of another mass shooting. Is an appropriate shooting site accessible? Can the would-be shooter obtain firearms? In 80% of school shootings, perpetrators got their weapons from family members, according to our data. Workplace shooters tended to use handguns they legally owned. Other public shooters were more likely to acquire them illegally.”

Coming Next…

In the next part of this series, we will explore the place of mass killings in the greater context of violence. Only scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson used his brain rationally enough to evaluate the significance of these mass killings. Most journalists and politicians are too busy enjoying their ratings boom and resulting cash influx to be as honest as Neil Tyson about the bigger picture.

Alvarism will break the event down by the numbers, and dare Tyson’s detractors to justify why they are willing to cry havoc at the bullet-deaths of a few dozen people, while they persistently ignore thousands of people tortured to death every month in hospitals. For anyone who cares, there are 250,000 such torturous deaths every year from medical errors.

But by all means, emulate chicken little when 99.92% fewer people die from the bullets of mass killers. The sensational drama presented to us by narrow-minded journalists twists our priorities and accurate perspective. With Alvarism’s empirical, rational, and perennial approach we can stabilize those imbalanced visions.
